About
I am an Early Years Teacher trained in the Cambridge International Education Curriculum. Over the course of my 38-year career in education, I have developed broad experience in teaching, teacher training, and institutional administration. A significant highlight of my career was my work with the Kindergarten Headmistress Association (now Kinderheads College), where I trained teachers pursuing a Certificate in Early Childhood Education. In this role, I coordinated teaching practice placements, prepared trainee teachers for classroom engagement, and managed annual placement schedules across multiple schools. This experience strengthened my ability to support academic programs while ensuring smooth operational coordination. In 2016, I transitioned into full-time educational administration at the Lunchbowl Network Kenya, where I served as the Head Teacher at the International Angels Kindergarten. In this capacity, I gained valuable experience in academic administration, institutional communication, and organizational management. My key responsibilities included: • Academic and Administrative Support – Providing executive support to the teachers through managing schedules, drafting official correspondence and newsletters, and maintaining the annual school calendar. • Training and Coordination – Supporting teacher development initiatives and coordinating activities that align with institutional learning objectives and curriculum goals. • Stakeholder Engagement – Serving as a primary contact point for parents, staff, and visitors while coordinating appointments and parent–teacher conferences to ensure effective communication within the school community. • Operational and Logistical Management – Coordinating school activities, including educational trips and staff programs, while ensuring efficient planning and smooth implementation. In addition to my education experience, I recently completed training in Behaviour Analysis, and I am now a Certified Behaviour Technician, further strengthening my ability to support inclusive learning environments. I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute my administrative experience, training background, and commitment to educational excellence to Tuta VirtualAcademy. I am confident that my experience working across both academic and administrative roles will enable me to effectively support the institution’s academic operations and training initiatives.
